The simple things, for Haiti

I missed Christina's 'simple things' because I was absent from the computer for one week. I was sad I did, especially because it was to help doctors without frontiers in Haiti. So when I read on Se'lah's blog about 'Enchanted Oak' tonight and that I can still write my simple things for Haiti and her family is going so generously offer 2$ for each post I was thrilled. So here goes my list of The simple things, for you Haiti:

Birdies chirping makes my heart sing
as well as my son's laughter

being with the people that I feel a deep connection with
no words are needed
just a deep look inside each other eyes Soul

garden, feeling the soil on my hands
fresh herbs and spices
cheese tomato sauce

reaching my hands up high to the sky
and reaching deep within me
love
peace

the flame of a candle
the cracking wood in a fire
the smell of nature in every season

truthful smile
understanding

the fresh breeze of the air on my cheeks
the coziness of my warm blanket at night

gentle music
and sometimes the big beat :-)

calenders
and pretty postcards

I pray for you Haiti!!!

Oh, Birdie, this was a joy to read. What a celebration of simple blessings! Thank you for being part of my day and this benefit for Haiti. I'm praying for them too. God be with you.
